Job Description

Responsibilities Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to lead the service engineering team, organized as Scrum Teams, to collaborate on the design of IT services to satisfy enterprise requirements. The Scrum Teams plan, design, engineer, and deliver service-related artifacts. Responsibilities include: Lead the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile or Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure their interests are incorporated into the release, and work with the team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery. Manage the business aspects of the project, including ensuring the right product is built, in the correct order, within budget, and by the deadline. Serve as the primary contact for the Agile or Scrum delivery team for information, work prioritization, and decision-making. Monitor and coordinate the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. Act as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure all targets and requirements are met. Ensure team members understand project objectives. Maintain the product backlog and release plan, facilitate meetings, and remove impediments to achieve sprint goals. Maintain flexibility and the ability to respond rapidly to changes. Facilitate the agile development process within the team. Develop and manage Agile Scrum artifacts and reports. Manage the communication process for information exchange. Qualifications Required: 2 years with BS/BA, 0 years with MS/MA, 6 years no degree; 4 years experience can substitute for a bachelor's degree. TS/SCI clearance is required. Prior experience on a Scrum team. Experience managing information technology development projects. Deep understanding of Project Management practices. Proficiency in MS Project for project management. Experience in agile development and production environments. Current DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE). Desired: PMP, Scrum Master, and/or Agile certifications. ITIL Foundations certification. Experience with ServiceNow. Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000, depending on experience and other factors.
