Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Monday to Friday (8:00 am – 4:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm) with possible on-call duties
• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up care for child and adolescent patients
• Work in an inpatient setting, with patient volume varying based on census
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychologists, therapists, and social workers, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Utilize evidence-based approaches to treat conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other psychiatric concerns in youth
• Educate families and caregivers on mental health conditions, treatment plans, and available resources
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (Credible)
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and best practices within the organization

Requirements

• Clear and active licensure as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state of Florida
• Certification as a PMHNP with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in child and adolescent psychiatric care preferred (new graduates with strong training will be considered)
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Experience in inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
