Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will manage and oversee the warehouse facility and operations. Manage the Receiving Department and the handling of all incoming materials. Supervise the transport of materials to production lines and all other departments.

Primary Duties

  • Supervise contributors at multiple locations
  • Responsible for all aspects of running the Warehouse property and facility
  • Manages the receipt and distribution of 100% of all materials needed for production lines
  • Ensure the Receiving department receives supplies in a timely manner and ensures distribution of materials reaches productions lines within required timeframes.
  • Develop and drive continuous improvement activities
  • Review daily production schedule and ensure demands are met through proper scheduling of work
  • Manage, evaluate and report on departments productivity and inventory
  • Engage and collaborate with contributors in other functions of the business to assist in problem solving and actioning resolutions as necessary
  • Has authority to stop production to correct any quality problems.
  • Evaluate employee performance to achieve a high level of output, write performance reviews and corrective actions
  • Ensure employees are aware of and provided with proper protective equipment and trained on chemical use and emergency exits in the department
  • Reviews data and trends on production and recommend continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and organization skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP and data entry software
  • Broad knowledge of quality control, production methods and Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Physical Requirement : Capability to lift 20 pounds. Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.

Education / Experience

  • Advanced education in logistics, management or related field desired
  • 3 to 5 years previous experience required
