Pasadena Federal Credit Union ($380M, Pasadena, CA) is seeking its next Vice President of Commercial Banking. Since its founding in 1935, it has grown to serve more than 25,000 members across Pasadena, San Gabriel, Sierra Madre, Covina, Huntington Park, and Glendale. The Vice President of Commercial Banking will be pivotal in building a high-performing commercial banking division from the ground up at a growing credit union. This leader will develop and execute the strategy to expand the commercial portfolio, foster a commercial banking mindset, and create a culture of consultative business development. With a strong background in commercial lending and a proven track record of success in both banks and credit unions, the VP will drive innovation, growth, and collaboration across the institution.

This role requires a dynamic leader who can successfully partner with fintechs and vendors to implement modern commercial banking solutions. The Vice President of Commercial Banking will introduce training and development initiatives to upskill staff, ensuring the entire team understands the nuances of commercial banking and delivers exceptional service to business members. They will also ensure all commercial banking activities fully comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.

With a keen focus on strategic growth and relationship-based lending, this leader will be responsible for expanding business banking services, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong credit acumen, a member-first mindset, and the ability to align commercial strategies with the credit union’s mission and long-term objectives.
