Objective:
The Trade Show Assistant - International Trade Shows provides comprehensive exhibitor support and data maintenance and integrity for EXPO PACK and PACK EXPO shows.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with exhibitor customer service for EXPO PACK events, responding to email and phone inquiries.

• Responsible for assisting current exhibitors and prospective exhibitors for EXPO PACK shows with all aspects of their show planning, including accessing their Exhibitor Resource Center and updating their online profiles.

• Maintain data integrity of exhibitors' records by making updates in Salesforce and Map Your Show and following up on returned emails.

• Process Exhibit Space Applications in Map Your Show and ensuring confirmation is sent to Exhibitors.

• In conjunction with the Manager, assist with booth selection for EXPO PACK shows, including sending exhibit space confirmations during the booth selection process.

• Proof floor plans, show guides, web sites and other show related documents.

• Assist Manager with development and review of the exhibitor service manual and Exhibitor Resource Center for Mexico shows.

• Collect content and build Exhibitor Bulletins for deployment to both domestic and international audience.

• PMMI Member Pavilion assistance at EXPO PACK shows:

  • Assist manager with updates and space assignments in MYS and Salesforce

  • Assist with PMMI Member inquiries and data entry for additional orders

  • Provide on-site assistance in the PMMI Pavilion and Lounge

• General Show Space/International Sales Support EXPO PACK shows:

  • Enter orders for international space assignments sent from Mexico office and send booth space confirmation with invoice and contract

  • Send sponsorship contracts and confirmations to international exhibitors

  • Customer support for portal, the exhibitor service manual, and general inquiries for international exhibitors

  • Assist with collections

• International Pavilion Support for Domestic Shows:

  • Enter orders for international pavilions and data entry for international pavilion exhibitors

  • Maintain updated exhibitor records for international pavilion exhibitors

  • Provide customer service for the international pavilion organizers and/or exhibitors as needed.

• Travel to the annual trade show(s), including international travel to Mexico Shows, and other events as needed to assist with onsite duties and booth sales for future tradeshows.

• Assist Show Department with monitoring the general show department mailbox and overflow customer service for domestic shows.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 4-year college degree required

• Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong customer service skills required, including via phone and email

• Strong organizational skills required with the ability to handle multiple projects at once

• Highly motivated with ability to work independently and prioritize work activities

• Attention to and precision with detail

• Able to adapt to change with a positive attitude

• Travel to trade shows in both the US and Mexico required

• Experience in Map Your Show, or Salesforce, a plus.
