Minimum 1+ years counselor experience required. A K-12 school located in Owasso, OK, is seeking a dedicated Counselor to join their team for the upcoming academic school year on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a professional passionate about supporting the emotional, social, and academic development of students across grades K-12. Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address personal, social, and academic challenges. Assist students in developing coping strategies, conflict resolution skills, and goal-setting techniques. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention plans. Monitor student progress and maintain confidential records in compliance with school policies and regulations. Facilitate workshops or programs that promote mental health awareness and positive school climate. Refer students and families to community resources when additional support is needed. Qualifications: Valid counseling certification and licensure appropriate for a K-12 school setting. Experience working as a counselor in an educational environment preferred.
