Base pay range $60.00/hr - $65.00/hr Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a SAFe Agile Scrum Master in Boca Raton, FL. Responsibilities: Lead the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of plans and programs to meet the goals and priorities of the business unit in a matrixed environment Ensure the team achieve its goals by teaching and coaching SAFe Scrum and Kanban in support of SAFe principles and practices Identify and eliminate bottlenecks Plays essential role in PI Planning by actively collaborating with other Scrum Masters, the Release Train Engineering, and the team during planning events Prepares for PI Planning by collaborating with product and business owners to identify scope of work to be accomplished Create PI plans for PI iterations, committed goals objectives, capacity, identify risks and issues Coordinate with other teams by fostering effective communication to collaborate on feature development and resolving dependencies Manage multiple squads on development plan, QA regression plan, performance testing, security champions, and documentation teams for releases readiness Manage release strategy and roadmap for hotfix, fix and service packs along with stakeholder communication Collaborating with scrum masters (SoS) from other squads for dependencies and updates KPI preparation and presentation for quarterly PI Planning sessions Facilitate team events with regular cadence to plan, synch, review inspect work and hold retrospectives Release and delivery management Measure and optimize workflow using productivity metrics to assess and improve overall team performance iteration over iteration Escalate complex issues and decisions to senior-level colleagues Identify and make recommendations for improvements to existing processes and procedures Maintain compliance with corporate and public regulations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience required Project governance certification (Scaled Agile, PMP, Kanban, Scrum, etc.) preferred 5+ years of IT software development SAFe Agile and Kanban methodology experience Technical knowledge - Software Development Lifecycle Expert with Atlassian tool (Jira/Confluence) for managing an effective Kanban board for visualizing, enhancing team workflow, and communication Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques Creativity/Innovation: Develop new and unique ways to help remove project roadblocks or improve organization productivity; Demonstrates superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions; Resolve conflicts; And create lasting, productive partnerships with clients; Works with senior management to resolve more complex problems Foster Teamwork: Work cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problem, and make decisions that enhance cross functional effectiveness Lead: Positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the organization Make Decisions: Assess situations to determine the importance, urgency and risks, and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the organization Organize: Set priorities, develop plans, monitor progress towards goals, and track details/data/information/activities Solve Problems: Drive organizational change taking full account of obstacles, opposition, and differing stakeholder priorities; Actively participates in cross-functional groups to solve problems across conflicting projects Competent using Jira, MS Project, MS Office, and MS Visio (preferred) Methodologies: Emphasis on scaled Agile and/or hybrid methodology for software application development solutions The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave. Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
