Job Description

LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Towson, MD area to hire a Recruiter to support their high-volume hiring needs. This is a temporary-to-hire position requiring five days a week onsite. The role pays $25–$28/hour during the contract phase, with the opportunity to convert to a permanent position paying up to $65,000 annually, depending on experience.

Job Description:

As a Recruiter, you will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a proven track record in high-volume recruitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements
  • Post job openings and manage applicant flow
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the applicant tracking system
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications
  • Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal hiring practices

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of high-volume recruitment experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple roles simultaneously
  • Comfortable working 100% onsite in Towson, MD
