Broadridge is seeking an overnight Physical Security Console Operator to join their team in Newark, NJ. The role involves monitoring the closed circuit television (CCTV) system, access control system, security records, key control, ID/access badge issuance, physical security of the site, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic inventory accountability, and safety inspections. The shift is overnight from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday. Responsibilities include supervising and controlling personnel access, monitoring and reporting event alarms, responding to and resolving alarms, conducting roving patrol inspections of facilities, notifying authorities of security issues, and keeping the Security Management Team informed. The role requires the ability to communicate clearly, vigilance in reporting security issues, knowledge of filing and phone courtesy, and basic computer skills including typing and use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. CPR qualification is preferred. The position is on-site with no remote work allowed.
