Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Member Service Representative with outstanding customer service skills to join their team. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with benefits in Albany, NY.
Responsibilities Include:
• Open and maintain customer accounts by recording account information
• Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution
• Recommend potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs
• Prepare product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information
• Assist with processing, closing, and disbursing loans and loans underwriting.
• Greet and welcome members and visitors to the credit union in a professional manner
Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in business is preferred, but not required.
• Prior banking experience is a plus.
• Must provide excellent customer service, ability to work independently, and great organizational skills.
• Knowledge of MS Suite, including Excel, is required.
