Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Projects to lead and oversee our construction project portfolio. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving the successful execution of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. You will work closely with executive leadership, manage cross-functional project teams, and be accountable for budgets, schedules, and field communication. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Construction/Security Integrator Management , a strong business mindset, and a proven track record of large-scale project success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction across all active and upcoming projects

  • Oversee and mentor technicians to ensure consistent project delivery standards

  • Break down complex, multi-phase projects into actionable plans and achievable milestones

  • Establish and enforce project management best practices, tools, and workflows

  • Approve and monitor project budgets, schedules, scopes, and resource allocations

  • Coordinate with internal teams, architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors

  • Negotiate contracts and maintain key partnerships with external stakeholders

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes, regulations, and permits

  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across the project portfolio

  • Deliver progress updates and performance reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders

  • Drive innovation, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Masters degree preferred)

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with at least 3 years in a security integrator management role

  • Proven success in managing multiple large-scale construction projects simultaneously

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification strongly preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, building materials, codes, safety regulations, and industry standards

  • Experience collaborating with C-suite executives and navigating complex organizational structures

  • Proficiency with management software and Microsoft Office Suite
